Get Valentine ready with this Week’s 7 Day Guide

It’s Valentine’s day soon so  you have the next few days to really get in shape so here is our 7 Day guide to get in shape.

Here’s what you should be doing today if you really want to make a difference before Saturday. You should be on your way out to shop and prepare for your meals for the next 7 days, and planning your next 7 days of fitness according to these guidelines.

Buy Fresh, Buy Natural and where possible buy Organic.

Day 1 – Workout Day. Focus today on having your best interval workout of the year. That might mean adding 5 seconds on to your work interval, or increasing your speed by 5%, or doing 10 more reps per bodyweight exercise if you are using a bodyweight circuit for intervals.

Day 2 – 30 minutes of activity. It could be traditional cardio, running errands, housework, gardening, dancing, or your favorite sport. Just make sure to be active everyday. I also want you to re-read some of our previous & day guides and watch out You Tube channel so you can see some simple and easy workouts to follow.

Day 3 – Your next workout. Make sure you are taking some good quality fish oil capsules each day ( Omega 3) . At the very least, it is recommended that we eat 2 servings of fish per week. Why not have some fish today.

Day 4 – 30 minutes of activity. And be on the lookout for a new source of motivation, especially if your enthusiasm is starting to wane. For example, buy yourself a new healthy eating cookbook or a motivational book or magazine, we love Deliciously Ella, an inspirational cookbook which will really open your eyes to eating clean and getting away from all the Sugar that’s in so much of our food.

Day 5 – Final Workout of the Week. Review your nutrition and make sure that you are keeping all sources of trans-fats out of your diet.

Day 6 – The Big V –  30 minutes of activity. Connect with your social support group and of course your loved one  It doesn’t have to be a meal out with wine and candles why not book an evening at your local climbing wall instead, then you can catch each other if you fall – very romantic!

Day 7- 30 minutes of activity followed by your weekly plan, shop, and prepare routine. Make sure that you have some fish on your list so that you have the right fats in your diet this week.
