Firstly, thank you for taking the time to visit this site. It’s my hope you have precisely what I need in a fitness trainer so I can take this page down immediately, and put you to work in the fun and rewarding coaching position I have available.

Let me tell you more about me, my company and the position I have available.  My name is Lisa Moore and I am the founder of Fit For Moore and Co -Founder of Fit For Tennis.  The company has operated since 2006 and in the last 10 years we have grown from just myself to a team of 4.

Business is booming and I now need to expand my team.

I have a training studio in central Haywards Heath where we provide Personal Training (1:1), Small Group Training (4:1) and Large Group Training (9:1) plus externally we run Fit for Tennis (2:16).

You can tell from the set up of our services that getting to to know our clients and providing a personal service to them (even in a large group) is our number 1 priority.  This is not a ‘ drop in and go ‘ gym or studio, our clients become members of the Fit For Moore community and I am looking for trainers who want to expand not only their technical and training skills but also their people skills to ensure our clients reach their goals.

Our target market is predominantly Women aged 40+ and I have also designed a program specifically for 60+ active ladies.  (Not to say we don’t have some exceptions to the rules, there are a few male clients and younger clients, but I think it’s important to understand who you will be working with.)

We use various training methods and utilize the Metabolic Effect methodology in our group training but don’t worry you will receive full training when you start with us. We also design customized nutrition, lifestyle and fitness programs.

It’s really important for me for you to understand the values that I have in place here at Fit For Moore:

All new clients begin with an initial fitness and nutritional assessment which we then repeat on a monthly basis throughout their contract, this allows you to get to know the client and to ensure we are always delivering excellent service and meeting their needs. All clients are important to us, regardless of their level of membership and are treated equally and it’s important to me for my team to stay in touch with our clients even when they are not training.  You may at times be asked to attend external meetings and events to promote Fit For Moore in the community or attend other client events such as our monthly Lunch and Learn sessions.

If you are hired for this coaching position, you’ll becoaching clients in the studio in Haywards Heath, covering all of our training programs and also may be required to training clients in a Fit For Tennis setting in the local area.  The studio is open 7 Days per week and we open from 6.30am until 9.30pm so you may be required to work early mornings, evenings and weekend.

You will be paid as an independent contractor initially with a view to becoming employed at a later stage.  There will be an initial 3 month trial and after 3 months we will review your role and agree the next steps.  I really want my trainers to progress their fitness careers so I can promise the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of a successful health and fitness business.

I’m very fair, respectful, and appreciative. I love having fun and making money providing highly valuable fitness services and products. You will be compensated fairly, treated fairly, and I will certainly look for ways to pay you more for your efforts if they warrant it. I want someone who enjoys working with people and making a difference in the lives of others…because that’s what we do in my studio.

Lisa Moore
Owner, Fit For Moore

P.S. This is not the type of job where just showing up is enough. Performance is everything to me. If you perform, you will be rewarded. I want nothing more than to find a person who takes real interest in doing good work and taking care of our clients. If that’s you, I promise that the starting salary is only the starting point. I recognize and reward performance.

With all that said, as I mentioned in the headline on this page, enthusiasm and a positive attitude go a long way in my book. I’m a very positive, upbeat business owner and appreciate those qualities in others. As long as you have the basic skills I mentioned, and a great attitude, you’re definitely a candidate! So submit your information today!

Lisa’s Saturday morning circuits are always enjoyable and hard work, she creates a good humoured and enthusiastic atmosphere. It’s pay-as -you -go so all that under-used gym sub ain’t an issue. In fact I don’t need the gym because Lisa covers it all, aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility. There’s competitive activity at the end just to extract that last ounce of effort and it does.
