Want to achieve your Goals – Do this NOW!

Ever felt like giving up? 😟

Here’s one tip that I have used myself and encourage my clients to use.

The tip is to TELL PEOPLE what you are aiming for.

Let’s say for example you have decided to do the London To Brighton Bike ride in June.

If you register to do it but don’t tell a single soul that you’re going to do it then you have left that bait easily accessible to your mind gremlin.

The gremlin that will tell you: when it’s pouring outside, or when your legs are sore that it doesn’t matter if you don’t do it. After all, who will know?? Just give up, it’s fine.

However, if you’ve told lots of people of your goal…different matter!

The benefits of telling someone else are:

  • They will encourage you.
  • ** They will support you and maybe even help you with your training.**
  • They will be there when the going gets tough.
  • They will keep you accountable by asking ‘ how’s it going’
  • They’ll tell you how amazing you are doing something like that.

You will also not want to let them down or lose face.

The other tip I have is ASK FOR HELP.

Riding the London to Brighton is a physical and mental challenge, especially if you’re not currently fit and haven’t been on a bike for years!

Getting the support of a good coach may be the best investment you’ve ever made. Your body will thank you 👍
