Top tips for finding the right Diet for you.

People are always looking for new diets that promise amazing results, trouble is ‘ diets’ are a short term answer and provide short term results. At Fit For Moore we believe in long term, sustainable, healthy eating including ALL of the food groups; carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water and essential vitamin and minerals.

The word diet tends to make people eliminate certain food types which are often impossible to eliminate for life. Everyone is different, in the same way we all have a unique fingerprint our metabolism is unique to us and therefore our diets need to be adapted for us. It is so important when embarking on a health and fitness programme that nutrition is included, all our trainers at Fit For Moore can analyse your diet, give recommendations and if necessary daily menus. If you’re looking to lose weight Samantha is a clinical weight loss practitioner and can provide a Nutritional Assessment and program designed especially for you. This combined with either 1:1 Personal Training or Small Group Training ensures we can help you to reach your ideal weight and body composition.
We recommend that rather than saying you’re going on a diet use the 80/20 rule.

80% of the time you eat mindfully, fresh, clean produce

20% you’re allowed the odd treat.

That does mean you can enjoy your cake and eat it!

Our Top Tips:

  • Eat slowly – enjoy each mouthful and definitely no 2nds!
  • Keep well hydrated
  • STOP when you are full
  • Eat when you are hungry
  • Have a balanced diet including carbohydrates, protein, fat, water, minerals and vitamins
  • Be aware of ALL the ingredients
  • Avoid processed and packaged food
  • Keep to your 5 or more a day or vegetables and fruit.
