I was a late starter when it came to using a gym. In my 20s I was leading an unhealthy lifestyle and 2 stone heavier, yet as a teenager I had taken part in all team sports and enjoyed being active. In 2004 I decided enough was enough and it was time to start thinking about my health and long term affects of being overweight, inactive & eating badly. Out went the unhealthy food choices and the start of my new me fitness campaign. Nearly 12 years later I now have such a passion for fitness that in 2010 I decided it was time to turn my passion in to a worthwhile career as a personal trainer. As a trainer I have worked with clients from gym beginners later in life to professionals with specific goals such as running an ultra marathon. To maintain my own fitness I run up to ½ marathons sub 2 hours, ride & compete horses, cycle, lift weights and take part in classes.
