Have you ever made a huge mistake? Made the wrong decision or been influenced by someone or something else to do something you’re not proud of? Yep. Me Too. It sucks. Fallen in love with the wrong person. Taken a job you hate. Bought a very expensive pair of shoes that hurt your feet and…

Bad Hair Day? Don’t worry they won’t even notice!!

I’m reading a book at the moment called The DIScomfort Zone, written by Farrah Storr, Editor in Chief of Cosmopolitan and the founder of Women’s Health Magazine. (I was featured in that magazine a few years ago!!) One of the things that she said was that although we think that people take full notice…

I have no idea how to do it???

One thing that’s stopped me so many times from moving forward is that thought “I don’t know enough….I don’t know how to XYZ…” I remember when I worked in the Corporate world as an Account Manager selling IT Services. I’d often have meetings with some of the Techy guys and they’d been waffling on about…

Can You Imagine Living On The Streets?

Earlier this year I traveled down to Brighton to do an interview with Radio Reverb. On my way in I passed a homeless man, I literally put my head down and walked on by. When I came out from the Interview, I spotted him again and realised everyone else was doing what ‘d just done.…

Best Laid Plans and all that……!

I thought I had it all mapped out. I’d been asked to take run one of the Educational Slots at the Toastmasters Area contest on Sunday (quite an honour actually) and had also been asked to judge the speech contests in the afternoon. I knew I was having my hair done on Friday…

Lisa’s Saturday morning circuits are always enjoyable and hard work, she creates a good humoured and enthusiastic atmosphere. It’s pay-as -you -go so all that under-used gym sub ain’t an issue. In fact I don’t need the gym because Lisa covers it all, aerobic fitness, strength and flexibility. There’s competitive activity at the end just to extract that last ounce of effort and it does.
