60+ Active – For Ladies that are!

The best class for 60+ Active ladies who want a social, fun and supportive program helping them to keep fit and feel young again.

We wanted to design a program that catered for those ladies out there who don’t want to visit work out in an intimidating gym environment or just go a sit on a machine that does most of the work for them.

Before designing our 60+ Active program we spoke to ladies who said that they wanted somewhere where they could work out together, have some great music, but still be able to chat and laugh whilst they are exercising.  They didn’t want the pressure of being forced to do exercises that either they found uncomfortable of were no longer able to do because of achy joints or lack of flexibility.

So we designed a class that caters for all needs, we only have up to 9 people in each session so can tailor the exercises to suit – if you can’t lie on the floor then we’ll give you an alternative to do in a standing position.

It’s fun and sociable, this is what one of our ladies said ” Very good social class, lots of laughing, new friends, great music, exercise is done at your speed and level so you can stop and rest when needed – I’d definitely recommend it to a friend!”

1. What made you decide you wanted/needed to start a program? I have tried so many diets, slimmers world did work for me however I put the weight back on again which is nothing new. I want to get fit, in the past my fitness has been good and I have been able to meet and exceed most fitness challenges with no trouble. 2. What results have you achieved since starting your program?
